Depth Sessions are an invitation to become still.  To see beneath the surface and get clear about the heart of the matter. To breathe and feel more deeply and with greater ease.

It is simple but not always easy to stay with strong sensations and be sensitively present to wherever they might lead. The payoffs, however, can include a profound sense of homecoming, greater resiliency, and the ability to navigate challenging states and situations with choice rather than from conditioning.

Using a blend of deep listening and enquiry I guide you through an embodiment practice, which uses your breath and the feelings in your body to allow for the fullest expression of your whole and authentic self, creating the basis for healing. As life force flows more freely through emotional, mental, and physical realms old patterns begin to shift and dissolve, making room for new choices and experiences that create a sense of agency.

Sessions are client-centered and evolve around your experience and needs in the moment. Therefore, they are highly individual. We may also employ the tools of herbalism, Reiki, movement, breathwork, and dream imagery as we work together to get to the root of the issues. When useful and necessary we will work together to develop a set of personal practices to help you unfurl toward your dreams. Often, what arises during sessions is enough to move the details of your life out of discomfort and pain toward  greater range within yourself and increased choice in the world. We’ll discuss ways to help your work continue to unfold between sessions.

What Can You Expect?

Sessions are entirely client-centered, meaning that what we focus on arises from within you and the modalities used will depend on the needs of the moment. I train in techniques that help me hold the safest space possible for you to explore, simply put, what is and what might be.

In our work together we create a container for you to go deep and wide. How often we meet depends on how quickly you process experiences. In my experience both as a practitioner and as a client in this work, there is no good, bad, or better pace. There is only the pace at which you are able to attend to and integrate what arises in session and for the work to begin to ripple into your outer life. I recommend meeting once every two weeks in the beginning and then adjusting to a frequency that supports your desires.

I’ve had the absolute privilege of getting to do breath work with Inger for three months and had a really profound breakthrough with our work this morning.

When we first started I honestly didn’t really understand what the goal of the work was and I got very agitated and also the ask from the work itself to be present with my body brought up a lot of agitation. Inger was so graceful and patient in just holding space for me in those first few sessions and we were able to move through the experience with such meaning and depth.

Through these sessions a lot of really profound memories stored deep in my body have surfaced in a way that has given me a new relationship to my body. There’s been a lot of feeling of ancestral memory surfacing that I can’t necessarily identify with my mind but I can feel with my body.

The structure of the session is identifying what is most alive and present in my body and I begin by breathing into that. Inger also has me identify an area in my body that feels safe in the beginning of each session so we can return there if the charge ever feels too intense. So much rich and fascinating material comes up through the sessions of breathing into different sensations in my body.

Today I was able to be present with some pretty intense pain from inflammation in my body and it was just such an unbelievably cool experience to feel like I was meeting my body where it was at rather than try to escape it. Also, by being present with this inflammation and listening to it and sitting with it, it felt like it took some of the “angry” feeling out of the inflammation, it started to calm down a little.

I feel like I won the lottery by getting to do this work with Inger that I didn’t even fully understand and had deep resistance to in the beginning. This morning at the end of our session she asked me if there was anything else she could do to support me and suddenly I just felt so abundant by the support that surrounds me in my life. And so much of the work I’m doing right now is the work of re-connecting, remembering and bringing me back into my body and learning my body as a safe place to be.

Inger is such a gift. I really recommend breathwork with her. I feel so grateful to have gotten to go on this journey of connecting with my body in a new way!
